Security forces carried out a successful clearance operation at the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Complex in Noshki, killing seven terrorists and arresting one alive, officials confirmed on Monday.
According to security sources, the operation was conducted to eliminate remaining threats following intelligence inputs about the presence of militants belonging to Fitna al-Hindustan. During the clearance phase, security personnel engaged the terrorists, resulting in the neutralization of seven militants, while one was apprehended alive.
A substantial cache of weapons and ammunition was recovered from the site, underscoring the militants’ operational capability and intent. Recovered arms included nine submachine guns with 16 magazines and 415 rounds, two M-16 rifles with 15 magazines and 352 rounds, two Chinese light machine guns with 110 rounds, and a Dragunov sniper rifle along with 10 magazines.
Security forces also seized a 14.5mm anti-aircraft machine gun with 284 rounds, an RPG launcher with 12 rounds, a UBGL grenade, eight hand grenades, five Tranxamin injections with syringes, three walkie-talkie sets, four mobile phones, and a night vision device.
Officials said the recovery of heavy weaponry, including an anti-aircraft gun and sniper equipment, points to the militants’ preparation for sustained and high-impact attacks, particularly targeting government installations and security personnel.
The arrested terrorist is being interrogated to determine the network’s facilitators, logistics routes, and potential links to other militant cells operating in the region.
Security sources confirmed that the DC Complex has been fully secured and that sanitization operations were completed to ensure no residual threat remains. Authorities reiterated that operations against Fitna al-Hindustan and other militant outfits will continue until all terrorist networks are dismantled.
The operation forms part of Pakistan’s broader counterterrorism efforts aimed at eliminating externally sponsored militancy and safeguarding critical state infrastructure in Balochistan.
