Seven Indian Sponsored Terrorists Taken Down in Back-to-Back KP Counterterrorism Actions

Seven militants linked to the Indian-sponsored network Al-Khwarij were killed in three intelligence-based operations conducted by Pakistan’s security forces across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on 18 and 19 November, as part of the ongoing counterterrorism campaign under Azm-e-Istehkam. The operations were carried out in Mohmand, Lakki Marwat and Tank districts, where troops successfully targeted and neutralised the threat following confirmed reports of militant activity.

According to ISPR, the first operation was launched in Mohmand District after the reported presence of Khwarij. Security forces engaged the militants’ location, and following an intense exchange of fire, four of them were killed.

In a separate intelligence-driven operation in Lakki Marwat District, two more militants were eliminated after they opened fire on security forces. A third encounter took place in Tank District, where one additional militant was neutralised.

The security forces have initiated area sanitisation to ensure that no other Indian-backed militants remain concealed in the vicinity. The statement added that the relentless counterterrorism efforts under Azm-e-Istehkam, approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, will continue with full resolve to eradicate foreign-sponsored terrorism from Pakistan.
