The Senate of Pakistan unanimously passed a resolution lauding the remarkable success of Operation Bunyān Marsūs and paying rich tribute to the Pakistan Armed Forces for giving a befitting response to Indian aggression.
The resolution acknowledged the armed forces’ exemplary courage and professionalism, stating that their decisive actions have not only safeguarded national sovereignty but also sent a clear message against any external threats. It reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to regional and global peace.
The resolution further called for the resolution of the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the United Nations Security Council resolutions and declared the Indus Waters Treaty as a matter of national security for Pakistan.
