Security Forces Strike in Lakki Marwat, Kill Two Khawarij in Targeted Operation

Security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the Shahbazkhel area of Lakki Marwat district, resulting in the killing of two Khawarij. According to official sources, the operation was launched following credible intelligence regarding the presence of Khawarij elements in the area. Security forces engaged the suspects in a brief exchange of fire, during which both individuals were neutralized.

Authorities stated that the Khawarij killed in the operation were involved in multiple acts of violence in the region and were on the wanted list of law enforcement agencies. Their activities were linked to previous attacks targeting security personnel and civilian infrastructure.

During the operation, weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the possession of the Khawarij. Officials described the recovery as evidence of their operational capability and intent to carry out further attacks. Security forces have launched follow-up search operations in the surrounding areas to ensure no additional threats remain and to dismantle any associated networks operating in the region.

Officials reiterated that intelligence-based operations will continue across the province as part of ongoing efforts to eliminate militant elements and restore long-term peace and stability in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
