The Levies Force courageously foiled a major terrorist attack in Mashkay Tehsil of Balochistan’s Awaran district, in a bold display of professional excellence, tactical readiness, and unwavering commitment to the state. The two-hour-long encounter ended with the militants forced into retreat, as Levies personnel held their ground with extraordinary determination. According to the Levies Directorate, the militants launched a coordinated assault on a police station in the Gujjur area of Mashkay, targeting security personnel with heavy fire. Despite the intensity of the attack, the Levies Force responded swiftly and fought back with remarkable resilience, successfully neutralizing the threat and safeguarding the installation.
Director General of the Balochistan Levies Force, Abdul Ghaffar Magsi, hailed the operation as a testament to the force’s bravery, discipline, and deep-rooted sense of duty. “By thwarting the attack in Mashkay, the Levies have once again proven their mettle as a frontline force committed to defending the nation,” he said.
He emphasized that this was not merely a tactical victory, but a powerful message to all hostile elements. “This operation is a clear demonstration of the Levies Force’s unshakable resolve, rigorous training, and loyalty to the state,” the DG stated. “There is no room for terrorists on the soil of Balochistan. Every attempt to destabilize our homeland will be met with full force.”
DG Magsi further reiterated the state’s determination to ensure public safety and maintain peace across the province. “We stand firm in our duty, and will go to any length to protect our people and uphold the rule of law,” he added.
