Bajaur: Terrorists opened fire on Police Post Badam-2, injuring Elite Force Constable Alam Khan in the attack.
According to police, immediately after the incident, SP Investigation Bajaur, along with DSP Mamund, moved towards the site of the attack. During their return, the police party came under a second assault as terrorists opened heavy fire on the convoy.
Security forces responded with a strong and coordinated counteraction, engaging the attackers and forcing them to retreat. During the exchange of fire, multiple bullets struck the SP Investigation’s vehicle; however, the armored vehicle protected the officers, and no further casualties were reported.
The injured Elite Force constable was promptly evacuated for medical assistance, while security in the area has been tightened. A search operation is underway to track down the fleeing terrorists.
