Security Forces Neutralize Key Lashkar-e-Islam Khawarij in Tirah

In a decisive counterterrorism operation late Sunday night, Pakistani security forces successfully targeted Lashkar-e-Islam Khawarij in the Zarmin Gul Chowk area of Tirah. The operation, conducted around 12:00 AM, identified the presence of 8 to 10 Lashkar-e-Islam Khawarij actively assembling in the area. Leveraging precise intelligence and coordinated action, security forces engaged the threat, resulting in the elimination of three key Khawarij and injuries to two others.

The deceased Khawarij have been identified as: TS Khan Alam, alias Rizwan, Akakhel tribe, TS Rafiq, alias Haqyar, Akakhel tribe and  TS Hamza, Akakhel tribe

Officials confirmed that the operation was carried out with strict adherence to operational protocols, minimizing collateral impact while effectively removing an imminent threat to regional security.

The authorities underlined that intelligence-driven operations combining aerial surveillance, reconnaissance, and coordinated ground action remain central to Pakistan’s ongoing strategy against Khawarij networks.
