Security forces have launched a swift search and rescue operation after 10 passengers were abducted by armed militants believed to be affiliated with the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) on the Zhob–Loralai route.

The incident occurred near the Khajuri Check Post on National Highway N-70, between Loralai and Musakhel. According to initial reports, the militants set up a blockade, intercepted two passenger buses, and took ten civilians at gunpoint before fleeing the scene.

The bus drivers alerted authorities immediately upon reaching the check post, prompting a rapid response from the Quick Response Force (QRF). Security personnel have cordoned off the area and initiated a large-scale combing operation to track down the perpetrators and ensure the safe recovery of the abducted individuals.

Officials confirmed that intelligence units and local law enforcement are working closely with the military to apprehend the kidnappers and restore security along the critical highway route.
