In a swift and timely operation, security forces in Dera Ismail Khan successfully thwarted a terrorist attack by Fitna al-Khawarij militants in the Kulachi Road area on Friday.
According to sources, the confrontation occurred when security forces came face-to-face with militants. An exchange of gunfire ensued, resulting in the death of four militants, including a key commander, Jahangir alias Mahaz Luni. The forces also seized a significant cache of arms and ammunition from the militants’ possession.
The operation is being hailed as a major success, with security forces showing commendable professionalism and determination in eliminating the militant threat in the region.
