Security forces successfully thwarted a suicide attack attempt in Mir Ali area of North Waziristan, killing four terrorists in a swift and decisive operation, according to security sources. Sources said a terrorist driving an explosives-laden vehicle attempted to ram it into a security forces’ camp wall, resulting in a powerful explosion. Following the blast, three more terrorists tried to infiltrate the camp but were intercepted and neutralised by security personnel before they could enter.
Due to the timely and courageous response of the security forces, all four terrorists were eliminated outside the camp, there was no loss or injury reported among the security personnel. The sources further revealed that during the past two days, a total of 88 terrorists reportedly affiliated with Afghan Taliban-backed groups have been killed in ongoing operations.
They added that, under the framework of the National Action Plan, the Pakistan Armed Forces and law enforcement agencies will continue their relentless efforts until the complete elimination of the last terrorist, reaffirming their unwavering resolve to defend the motherland.
