Security forces in Balochistan have successfully foiled a significant terrorist plot, apprehending a female suicide bomber along with two of her facilitators, authorities confirmed on Friday. The swift operation underscores the vigilance and operational readiness of security agencies in countering extremist threats in the region.

According to official sources, security agencies received credible intelligence indicating that a local facilitator, identified as Fareed, alias Zagrin, associated with the outlawed terrorist group Fitna-e-Hindustan, had been preparing a female suicide bomber named Khair-un-Nisa for an imminent attack in Kech District. Acting promptly on this information, security forces launched an operation resulting in the arrest of Fareed.

During interrogation, Fareed reportedly disclosed that Khair-un-Nisa was hiding at her uncle Javed’s residence in Hub. Based on this intelligence, specialized units were immediately dispatched to Hub, where they successfully apprehended Khair-un-Nisa along with her accomplice Hani, the wife of Abdul Aziz, who had been assisting in the plot.

Officials emphasized that the timely interception prevented what could have been a devastating terrorist attack, highlighting the continuing threat posed by extremist networks in the region and the critical importance of intelligence-driven operations.

The arrested individuals are currently in custody, and investigations are ongoing to dismantle any further networks linked to the plot. Security agencies have reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining peace and stability in Balochistan and across the country
