Security Forces Foil Major Infiltration Attempt at Pak-Afghan Border, 10–12 Khawarij Eliminated

Security forces successfully repelled a major infiltration attempt at the Pakistan-Afghanistan border near Gangi Khel, opposite Shawal in North Waziristan. According to sources, a group of Khawarij affiliated with the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) attempted to cross into Pakistani territory through the mountainous terrain. Troops deployed along the frontier acted with precision and engaged the infiltrators, eliminating between 10 and 12 in the ensuing exchange of fire.

The timely action of the security forces not only thwarted the infiltration but also inflicted heavy losses on the Khawarij. Videos later released on social media accounts linked to the group confirmed the deaths, underscoring the scale of the setback they suffered. The security forces reiterated their commitment to safeguarding the country’s frontiers and making clear that no attempt to undermine peace and stability will be allowed.
