Security forces successfully foiled a major attack by the India-sponsored terrorist group Balochistan Liberation Front in the Nokundi area of Balochistan.
According to sources, the assault began when a militant drove a vehicle packed with a five hundred kilogram suicide bomb into the area, creating a fifty foot deep crater after the explosion. Six more militants later attempted to launch a follow up attack.
A forty eight hour security operation was carried out, during which all seven terrorists were killed.
Sources said the situation is fully under control and security measures in the region have been further tightened.
