Security forces successfully thwarted a series of coordinated activities carried out by Fitna-al-Hindustan across multiple locations in the Balochistan during the night of March 30–31, 2026, effectively preventing potential threats to public safety and critical infrastructure.
According to official sources, the attackers had dispersed into smaller groups in an apparent attempt to carry out synchronized disruptive actions and attract attention. However, the swift response, vigilance, and operational readiness of security personnel led to the timely neutralization of these threats at various locations across the province.
At Lakpass, an attempted attack on a radar installation was promptly identified and repelled, with security forces successfully preventing any damage to the sensitive site. In Mastung, elements of Fitna-al-Hindustan attempted to plant an improvised explosive device (IED). The device detonated prematurely, causing no casualties or damage, thereby averting a potentially dangerous situation. In Mangocher, attackers opened fire from a distance on a Frontier Corps (FC) Wing Headquarters. Security forces responded decisively, resulting in the elimination of two attackers, while the remaining individuals fled the scene.
A similar attempt was reported in Pir Ismail Ziarat, where elements of Fitna-al-Hindustan tried to establish an unauthorized checkpoint. The rapid arrival and intervention of security forces forced the attackers to abandon their plans and escape. In Zehri, troops intercepted attackers traveling on a motorcycle. A brief exchange of fire ensued, leading to the killing of one attacker.
Following these coordinated attempts, comprehensive sanitization and clearance operations were conducted in several areas, including Ormach, Besima, Awaran, Mashkai, the Coastal Highway, Panjgur, and Hoshab to ensure the complete elimination of any residual threats.
Security officials emphasized that these operations reflect the forces’ continued commitment to maintaining peace, stability, and law and order across the province. The swift and coordinated response underscores their preparedness to counter any attempt to destabilize the region.
Authorities reiterated that all necessary measures will continue to be taken to safeguard civilians, protect vital installations, and ensure that hostile elements are dealt with firmly. Security forces remain on high alert, and intelligence-based operations will persist to prevent future incidents.
