Security Forces Eliminate Two TTP Terrorists in Mohmand IBO

Security forces carried out a successful intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Soran Dara area of Mohmand District, resulting in the killing of two terrorists affiliated with the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

According to security sources, the operation was launched on the basis of credible intelligence regarding the presence and movement of terrorists in the area. During the operation, security forces encountered heavy resistance, leading to an intense exchange of fire between the terrorists and the troops.

As a result of the engagement, two TTP terrorists, identified as Abu Bakar and Hussain, were neutralized. Both terrorists were actively involved in terrorist activities in the region and were wanted by law enforcement and security agencies for their roles in attacks against security forces and civilians.

The operation highlights the unwavering resolve of security forces to act decisively against terrorist elements and to deny them the ability to establish safe havens in remote areas. Timely and precise action by the forces prevented potential threats and further destabilization of the region.

Security forces remain committed to eradicating terrorism and ensuring peace, stability, and the protection of local communities. Follow-up clearance and sanitization operations are underway to eliminate any remaining terrorist presence in the area.

This successful intelligence-led operation underscores the effectiveness and professionalism of the security forces in dismantling terrorist networks across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
