In two successful operations against khawarij, Pakistani security forces have eliminated two key members of the outlawed extremist group commonly referred to as “Fitna al-Khawarij.”
The first incident took place in the Angoor Adda area of South Waziristan, where a fierce exchange of fire broke out between security personnel and khawarij. During the clash, a high-value target identified as Sardar Wali alias Saqib was killed. According to officials, Saqib was a senior commander of the khawarij and was involved in multiple terrorist activities across the region.
In a separate operation conducted earlier the same day at 7:30 AM in the Karrapa Zakha Khel area, which falls under the area of responsibility of the 26 FF unit stationed at the Tirah Militia Headquarters, security forces engaged in another intense firefight with khawarij. During this encounter, a khariji identified as Islamabad, son of Millat Khan, was killed. His body was recovered from the site by security forces.
Both operations are part of the ongoing nationwide crackdown against extremist elements. Security forces reaffirmed their commitment to eradicating terrorism and restoring lasting peace in the region.
Authorities are continuing their clearance operations and have increased surveillance to prevent any retaliatory attempts by khawarij.
