Security forces successfully foiled an infiltration attempt by Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Khawarij along the Tall border crossing, eliminating three in a swift and decisive operation to safeguard national security. According to officials, the Khawarij were attempting to cross into Pakistan from Afghanistan with the intent to carry out subversive activities. Security forces, maintaining strict vigilance along the frontier, intercepted the infiltrators and engaged them in an exchange of fire.
In the encounter, three Khawarij were killed. The bodies of two were recovered on the Pakistani side of the border, while the third lay on the Afghan side. The rapid response was described as a clear message to the TTP Khawarij that no infiltration attempt will be tolerated.
Officials said the operation demonstrated the unyielding resolve of the armed forces to protect Pakistan’s borders and foil any plot by the Khawarij to destabilize the region. They emphasized that the proactive measures and high alertness of the security personnel had once again prevented the enemy from executing its nefarious designs.
The Tall border region, connecting Kurram district with Afghanistan, has witnessed repeated infiltration attempts by the TTP Khawarij in recent months. However, enhanced surveillance, strengthened border security, and timely operations have significantly curtailed their activities.
Officials further reiterated that Pakistan’s sacrifices in the war against the Khawarij remain unparalleled, and the nation’s security forces will continue to ensure that no safe haven or infiltration route is allowed to threaten peace and stability.
