Security forces in North Waziristan’s Dattakhel area successfully neutralised six militants during an operation near a check post in Mandi Khel, officials confirmed. Some militants were injured, but no casualties were reported among the security personnel.
According to sources, suspicious movements near the check post prompted the forces to act. The militants opened fire, and in the ensuing exchange, six were killed while the remaining injured fighters managed to escape.
The forces recovered the bodies and seized weapons from the site, initiating necessary follow-up measures. Authorities emphasised that with the unconditional support of the public, operations will continue until the last terrorist is eliminated, ensuring lasting peace across Pakistan.
