Security forces conducted an operation in the Shah Hassankhel area of Lakki Marwat district, eliminating several Khawarij belonging to the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and seizing a cache of weapons. According to security officials, the action was launched on intelligence reports regarding the presence of Khawarij in the area. During the exchange of fire, multiple Khawarij were killed, while their hideout was cleared.
Recovered arms and ammunition were taken into custody, and the area was cordoned off to ensure complete security clearance. Officials reiterated that operations against the Khawarij will continue until the region is fully rid of their presence.
