Security Forces Eliminate Eight Militants in Counterterrorism Operation in Laki Marwat

Pakistan’s security forces have successfully neutralized eight militants and critically injured five others during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) conducted in the Wanda Sheikh Allah area of Laki Marwat.  The operation, launched on the basis of credible intelligence, was executed with exceptional tactical skill and precision. According to security sources, the militants were completely surrounded, leaving no opportunity for escape. The swift and decisive action underscores the unwavering commitment and operational excellence of Pakistan’s security forces in combating terrorism and ensuring lasting peace.

Following the engagement, a comprehensive search and clearance operation was initiated to secure the area and eliminate any remaining threats. The operation aims to ensure the complete eradication of terrorist elements that seek to destabilize the region.

Security officials stated that the National Action Plan (NAP) remains the guiding framework for all counterterrorism efforts. Operations will continue until the elimination of the last extremist and the full restoration of peace and stability across the country.
