Security forces conducted a major intelligence-based operation in the outskirts of Quetta, eliminating ten Khawarij involved in subversive activities and attacks on law enforcement personnel. According to official sources, the operation was launched in the Aghberg and Ghaza Band areas after confirmed intelligence indicated the presence of Khawarij planning a large-scale attack. As the security forces advanced, a fierce exchange of fire took place, resulting in the elimination of ten Khawarij.
During the successful operation, a large cache of modern weapons and explosives was recovered, including advanced firearms and bomb-making material. Two security personnel sustained injuries in the encounter and were shifted to hospital, where they are reported to be in stable condition.
Officials confirmed that the neutralized Khawarij were involved in multiple terrorist activities, including attacks against security forces, and were planning another major strike which was thwarted through timely action.
Security forces have expanded search and clearance operations in the surrounding areas to eliminate any remaining threats and ensure peace and stability. Authorities reiterated that the armed forces and law enforcement agencies remain resolute and committed to eradicating the menace of Khawarij and ensuring lasting peace across the country.
