In a decisive early morning operation, security forces targeted two separate camps of the banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) in the rugged Dhadar mountains of Duki district, resulting in the confirmed deaths of 20 to 25 militants.
According to credible intelligence sources, the militants killed were directly involved in the brutal killing of 30 innocent civilians in recent attacks on the N-70 highway, specifically in the Rara Sham area of Musakhel district and Rankan area of Barkhan district.
The group was being led by BLA commander Nek Mohammad, who was among those neutralized in the operation. Security officials confirmed that the notorious commander and his accomplices have been “sent to hell” for their role in the heinous attacks.
Authorities hailed the operation as a major blow to the banned outfit and a step forward in restoring peace in the troubled region.
