In a significant push against terrorism, security forces have reached the networks of facilitators in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and other provinces, arresting hundreds who had long been aiding militant groups. According to security officials, this is one of the largest operations targeting the backbone of terrorism.
Authorities confirmed that in every province, including KP, a special mechanism has been developed where representatives from multiple departments work jointly. This system ensures that within minutes, intelligence and data on suspects become available to security agencies, making operations faster and more effective.
Officials also revealed that several facilitators serving in government departments were identified in KP and other regions. These individuals have been exposed, and strict legal action is underway against them.
Security forces stressed that the fight against terrorism cannot be won by eliminating militants alone; those providing logistical, financial, and administrative support must also be rooted out. For this purpose, a full-fledged mechanism has been implemented across KP and other provinces, tightening the grip on terror networks.
By targeting facilitators, authorities believe they are striking at the very foundation of terrorism, ensuring long-term stability and security.
