Pakistan’s security forces have successfully eliminated 133 terrorists affiliated with “Fitna-e-Al-Hindustan” during extensive counterterrorism operations carried out across Balochistan over a two-day period, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed.
According to ISPR, India-sponsored terrorists operating under the banner of Fitna-e-Al-Hindustan attempted to destabilize peace in Balochistan through coordinated terrorist attacks on January 31, targeting multiple locations across the province.
The terrorists carried out violent assaults in Quetta, Mastung, Noshki, Dalbandin, Kharan, Gwadar, and Pasni, deliberately targeting civilians. As a result of these cowardly attacks, 18 innocent civilians, including women, children, and laborers, were martyred.
ISPR stated that Pakistan’s security forces responded swiftly and decisively, foiling the terrorist designs through effective intelligence-based and clearance operations. During these engagements, 92 terrorists, including three suicide bombers, were neutralized. With continued operations over the following two days, the total number of terrorists killed rose to 133.
During the clearance operations, 15 brave soldiers of the Pakistan Armed Forces embraced martyrdom while defending the nation. ISPR paid rich tribute to the fallen heroes, acknowledging their supreme sacrifice in the fight against terrorism.
ISPR further revealed that the attacks were orchestrated on the instructions of terrorist ringleaders operating from outside Pakistan. It reaffirmed the resolve that planners, facilitators, and abettors of these attacks will be brought to justice at all costs, wherever they may be. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti announced that the counterterrorism operation against militants in the province has been successfully completed.
He stated that security forces delivered a crushing response to the terrorists, demonstrating that “even ten such attacks cannot weaken our resolve.” The Chief Minister emphasized that no compromise will be made on the peace and security of Balochistan.
Sarfraz Bugti highlighted the unwavering courage of the families of martyrs and assured them that the government stands firmly with them. “We promise the families of the martyrs that every drop of blood will be accounted for,” he said, reaffirming the government’s commitment to justice and lasting peace.
The federal and provincial governments, along with Pakistan’s armed forces and law enforcement agencies, reiterated their collective determination to completely eradicate terrorism and safeguard the lives and future of the people of Balochistan and Pakistan as a whole.
