Security forces successfully cleared Kharsin village in Zangoti area of North Waziristan from Khawarij during an operation late Monday night, after which displaced families began returning safely to their homes with full support and facilitation. Following the clearance, residents re-entered the village in a secure and organized manner. Security forces arranged lunch for the families at the entry point, while dinner was delivered and distributed within the village to ensure a smooth resettlement process.
A medical team comprising a doctor and two lady health visitors was also deployed at the entry point to provide healthcare facilities. The team examined patients and distributed free medicines, extending immediate relief to those in need. Officials said the successful clearance of the area from Khawarij was part of ongoing efforts to restore lasting peace in North Waziristan, while humanitarian measures were being undertaken to support the rehabilitation of local communities.
