Security Forces Capture Khawarij Stronghold in Azam Warsak

Frontier Corps (FC) and Pakistan Army, in a joint operation, have taken control of a key stronghold of the Khawarij in Azam Warsak, marking a major breakthrough in the campaign to restore peace and stability in the region. The center, long used by the Khawarij as a hub for their hostile activities, has been secured and converted into a defensive post by the security forces.

The operation was executed with precision, leading to the elimination and injury of several Khawarij fighters, while the remaining elements fled in disarray. In the aftermath, security forces launched an extensive search operation in the surrounding areas to ensure complete clearance and to eliminate any possibility of renewed Khawarij activity.

The success of the operation has been widely welcomed by the local population, who view it as an important step towards lasting peace in South Waziristan. Community representatives and tribal elders praised the courage and sacrifices of the Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps, pledging their continued support and cooperation in efforts to rid the region of the Khawarij menace.

“The bravery of our security forces has brought us closer to peace. It is through their sacrifices that we can look forward to a future of stability and security,” said one elder, echoing the sentiments of the local community.

Residents further expressed hope that the establishment of permanent posts in the cleared areas would prevent the Khawarij from regrouping and enable the people to lead peaceful lives once again.

Military officials underscored that the operation in Azam Warsak forms part of a wider strategy to dismantle the infrastructure of the Khawarij and to deny them any sanctuary within Pakistan. They reaffirmed the commitment of the armed forces to safeguarding the region and maintaining lasting peace.

Observers note that the capture of the Khawarij stronghold in Azam Warsak represents a significant milestone, highlighting both the determination of Pakistan’s security forces and the resilience of local communities in countering extremism and paving the way for enduring stability in the tribal districts.
