In response to what officials are calling a “cowardly” Indian assault, the Pakistan Army has launched fierce retaliatory strikes along the Line of Control (LoC), destroying key Indian military posts in a show of strength and resolve.

According to security sources cited by state broadcaster PTV on X (formerly Twitter), Pakistan’s armed forces targeted and destroyed Indian posts in the Kot Katherah area of Kotli Sector. One of the destroyed outposts includes the Indian Army’s Gul Tekri post, from which thick plumes of smoke were seen rising in dramatic footage now circulating on official platforms.

“These are not isolated incidents — the Pakistan Army is responding decisively to every act of Indian aggression,” a senior security source confirmed.

The escalation comes amid heightened tensions following an attempted nighttime incursion by Indian forces, which Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif earlier condemned as a “vile” attack foiled by Pakistan’s vigilant defence forces.

Footage released shows significant structural damage to Indian posts, reinforcing the message that any provocation along the LoC will be met with overwhelming force. Military officials assure the nation that all necessary measures are being taken to defend Pakistan’s sovereignty.
