A tragic terrorist attack struck the Mach area of Kachhi District in Balochistan, as terrorists belonging to the Indian-backed proxy group, the so-called Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), targeted a vehicle of Pakistan’s security forces using an improvised explosive device (IED). The brutal attack resulted in the martyrdom of seven brave soldiers, hailed as sons of the soil, who were carrying out their duties to secure peace and stability in the region.

Among the martyred were Subedar Umar Farooq (42, resident of Karachi), Naik Asif Khan (28, from Karak), Naik Mashkoor Ali (28, Orakzai), Sepoy Tariq Nawaz (26, Lakki Marwat), Sepoy Wajid Ahmed Faiz (28, Bagh), Sepoy Muhammad Asim (22, Karak), and Sepoy Muhammad Kashif Khan (28, Kohat).

According to Intelligence report India’s notorious agency Raw has tasked BLA to wreak havoc in Balochistan in order to deteriorate security situation over there. These soldiers sacrificed their lives in the line of duty, defending the nation from the same hostile elements operating on India’s behest. Last week, DG ISPR had put forth irrefutable evidences of Indian involvement in several terror activities in the country, and especially in Balochistan.

Following the attack, security forces immediately launched a sanitization operation in the area to eliminate any remaining terrorists and track down the perpetrators of this heinous act. Officials have vowed that those responsible will be brought to justice and that such cowardly attacks will not shake the resolve of Pakistan’s armed forces.

The military leadership, backed by the people of Pakistan, has reaffirmed its unwavering determination to crush terrorism and defeat the nefarious designs of India and its proxies. The sacrifices of these martyrs, officials said, only deepen the nation’s resolve to secure peace and uphold the sovereignty of Pakistan, particularly in the strategically vital region of Balochistan. “We will not rest until every enemy of peace is held accountable,” said a security spokesperson, adding that the courage and sacrifice of these fallen heroes will forever remain etched in the nation’s heart.
