Precision Strike in Balochistan Eliminates Key Khariji Commander Aiding BLA

Balochistan, Harnai, Precision Strike, Khariji Commander, BLA

A major counterterrorism operation by Pakistani security forces in the Harnai district of Balochistan has killed a senior Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) commander, Saifullah, along with five of his associates, officials confirmed on Thursday.

According to security sources, the precision drone strike was carried out following credible intelligence reports about the presence of the TTP cell in the area. The targeted group had allegedly been providing improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and technical assistance to the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) for the past two years.

Authorities said the strike successfully eliminated a network that played a central role in supplying explosives and facilitating attacks on security forces and vital installations in the region. The operation is being hailed as a significant blow to the coordination between the TTP and BLA—two of Pakistan’s most active militant groups. A search and clearance operation is reportedly underway in the surrounding areas to locate any remaining operatives or weapons caches.

No casualties were reported among security personnel.
