PM Shehbaz Lauds Armed Forces’ Triumph in Bunyanun Marsoos, Vows Decisive Response to India’s Proxy War

Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif on Saturday paid a high-profile visit to the Command and Staff College in Quetta, where he addressed graduating officers and faculty, praising the Pakistan Armed Forces for their stellar performance during the recent Bunyanun Marsoos campaign. He declared that Pakistan would resolutely defeat all threats emanating from India’s intensified proxy operations inside the country.

The Prime Minister commended the Armed Forces for their “extraordinary bravery, unwavering professionalism, and supreme sacrifices,” stating that their conduct during Bunyanun Marsoos had earned the nation’s utmost admiration and respect. He described the operation as a landmark in the defence of Pakistan’s sovereignty and a testament to the operational excellence of its military leadership and personnel.

“Pakistan’s Armed Forces have once again proved that they are the shield of the nation—unyielding, disciplined, and resolute,” the Prime Minister said, adding that the government would continue to extend full support to the military in its constitutional mission to safeguard the country.

Turning to regional security dynamics, the Prime Minister issued a strong rebuke to India, accusing it of escalating terrorist activities in Pakistan following its “humiliating defeat” during Ma’rka-e-Haq. He warned that India’s ongoing campaign conducted through a web of proxies the Prime Minister referred to as Fitna al Hindustanwould be confronted with national unity and force.

“India’s nefarious designs will be crushed. The Pakistani nation stands united and will never allow any external conspiracy to destabilize our homeland,” the Prime Minister declared with resolve.

He further emphasized the imperative of strengthening coordination among all pillars of national power civil, military, diplomatic, and economic to address emerging challenges and protect Pakistan’s strategic interests in a volatile regional environment.

Earlier, on his arrival at the prestigious military institution, the Prime Minister was warmly received by the Chief of Army Staff, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M).
