PM AJK Vows to Stand First Against Eternal Enemy, Reaffirms Unwavering Support for Pakistan Armed Forces

Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Chaudhry Anwarul Haq on Thursday declared that he would be the first to step forward in confronting the country’s “eternal enemy,” as he reaffirmed full solidarity with Pakistan’s armed forces amid national security concerns.

Addressing a session of the AJK Legislative Assembly, the prime minister said, “When it comes to national security, we are united as one. We stand like a rock with the armed forces of Pakistan.” He reiterated that in the face of threats from the “eternal enemy,” he himself would be the first to offer his service in defense of the nation.

Without naming India, the prime minister’s remarks clearly referred to longstanding hostilities and provocations from the eastern neighbor, widely regarded in national discourse as the chief threat to peace and stability in the region.

Chaudhry Anwarul Haq further announced the establishment of a Rs1 billion Emergency Response Fund, adding that the AJK government had made preparations to ensure the availability of food, medicine, and other essential supplies in case of any crisis.
