An attempt to disrupt the development process in Gwadar was successfully thwarted as security forces carried out a timely and effective operation against terrorists belonging to the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA). The terrorists had targeted a labour colony in Gwadar with the intent to attack innocent and hardworking civilians, aiming to spread fear and undermine peace, stability, and ongoing development projects in the region.
Acting on credible intelligence and responding swiftly to the emerging threat, security forces conducted a precise operation at the labour colony in Gwadar. As a result of the decisive action, five BLA terrorists were neutralized before they could carry out their nefarious objectives. The operation reflects the firm resolve of the state to protect critical development initiatives, safeguard civilian lives, and ensure that Gwadar’s progress remains uninterrupted.
