The mastermind behind a recent attack in Panjgur, identified as Sameedullah alias Sameedullah, was shot dead by unidentified motorcycle riders in the Shamsar area of Iran, according to security sources.
Sameedullah was a former camp commander in the Prom mountains. After relocating to Iran, he continued to plan attacks from safe hideouts, issuing operational instructions to ground commanders across the border.
Investigations have also revealed that Sameedullah’s cousin was involved in the Panjgur bank robbery incident, linking the militant network to multiple acts of violence in the region.
Security officials say Sameedullah was targeted and killed in a shooting by unknown assailants, bringing an end to his role in orchestrating attacks against Pakistan.
