Pakistan’s top military leadership has expressed serious concern over recent attacks on petrochemical and industrial facilities in Saudi Arabia, terming them unnecessary escalations that risk undermining ongoing efforts to stabilize the Middle East.
The concerns were voiced during the 274th Corps Commanders’ Conference held under the chairmanship of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, according to a statement issued by Inter-Services Public Relations.
The forum offered prayers for the martyrs of the armed forces, law enforcement agencies, and innocent civilians who laid down their lives in defence of the country, reaffirming that their sacrifices remain the cornerstone of Pakistan’s security.
The Army Chief commended the professionalism, operational readiness, and sustained intelligence-based counterterrorism efforts of Pakistan’s armed forces. He emphasized that through close coordination among the government, military, and the public, Pakistan is steadily consolidating its security gains, strengthening economic stability, and enhancing its regional and global standing.
The conference resolved to continue decisive action against all terrorist proxies operating at the behest of hostile external elements, including their facilitators and abettors. Participants reiterated that ongoing counterterrorism operations would persist with full momentum until militant safe havens are completely dismantled and the use of Afghan territory against Pakistan is decisively ended.

It underscored Pakistan’s role as a responsible stakeholder and an active contributor to regional security and stability.
