Pakistan’s defensive security operations conducted under Ghazab Lil Haqq have resulted in significant degradation of hostile infrastructure along western frontier engagement corridors, security sources said.
According to a statement by Musharraf Zaidi, spokesperson for the Prime Minister on foreign media, Pakistani security operations have reportedly resulted in significant militant infrastructure and manpower losses across frontier engagement zones.
The statement claimed that approximately 72 Afghan Taliban fighters were killed and more than 120 injured during multiple defensive operations conducted by Pakistan Army units, though battlefield figures remain subject to verification.
Authorities further stated that Pakistani forces gained operational control of seven border posts during localized tactical movements.
Security reporting also indicated destruction of:
16 militant posts
A large weapons and ammunition storage facility
Battalion-level operational structures
Sector headquarters installations allegedly associated with hostile formations
Officials described the operations as part of ongoing defensive actions aimed at protecting frontier security following reported cross-border hostile activity.
Military sources maintained that engagement actions were focused on degrading militant operational capability rather than targeting civilian areas.
Security formations remain on high alert across frontier districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, particularly along sectors adjacent to the Durand Line.
Further assessment and confirmation of engagement outcomes will follow standard intelligence verification procedures.
