The Pakistan Armed Forces have continued their operations against the Afghan Taliban and Fitna ul Khawarij, achieving significant results in a targeted aerial operation in Kandahar.
According to security sources, the forces successfully carried out a precision airstrike that completely destroyed the Brigade Headquarters of the 205 Corps of the Afghan Taliban. The operation also targeted ammunition depots, effectively neutralizing key logistical and operational facilities of the militant group.
Officials described the operation as a powerful and highly coordinated action, which inflicted substantial military losses on Taliban fighters. Security sources confirmed that the operation forms part of the broader Operation Ghazab Lil Haq, an ongoing campaign aimed at dismantling militant infrastructure, disrupting supply and ammunition chains, and reducing the operational capabilities of extremist elements in the region.
The Armed Forces emphasized that the operation was conducted with precision and strategic planning, leveraging intelligence-driven targeting to maximize impact while minimizing collateral damage. Analysts note that operations of this scale demonstrate the Pakistani military’s continued focus on counter-terrorism and regional stability.
Security officials confirmed that the strikes were executed in coordination with ground monitoring and aerial reconnaissance, ensuring the effectiveness of the operation and the neutralization of key high-value targets.
The Armed Forces have reiterated their commitment to continuing Operation Ghazab Lil Haq until all identified threats are neutralized and regional security is reinforced. Additional updates will be provided as further assessments of the operation’s outcomes are completed.
