The National Counter Terrorism Center (NCTC) in Peshawar hosted a Distinguished Visitors Day, where key US officials, including US Chargé d’Affaires Netley Baker, senior American military leaders, and the Rawalpindi Corps Commander, attended and were briefed on the exercise’s scope and objectives.

According to ISPR, the foreign delegates lauded the professional standards of both forces, describing their operational skills as commendable and highly effective.

Thirteenth Edition, Continuing Bilateral Cooperation

Inspired Gambit 2026 marks the 13th joint counterterrorism exercise between Pakistan and the United States, underlining the continuity of their military cooperation. The exercise is designed to facilitate experience-sharing in counterterrorism strategies and enhance bilateral operational interoperability.

ISPR noted that the joint exercise has improved the collective operational readiness of both forces, providing realistic scenarios to counter evolving terrorist threats while strengthening professional coordination.

With threats from regional and transnational terrorist groups persisting, the drill reinforces Pakistan’s proactive counterterrorism posture and showcases its ability to effectively collaborate with international partners in safeguarding security interests.
