Pakistan Unveils 20 Years of Indian State-Sponsored Terrorism Backing Attacks in Balochistan: DG ISPR

In a powerful media briefing on Thursday, Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry and Federal Secretary for Interior Aftab Durrani exposed India’s two-decade-long campaign of state-sponsored terrorism against Pakistan, holding New Delhi directly responsible for recent terror attacks in Balochistan.

Presenting detailed evidence, DG ISPR and the Interior Secretary labeled India’s proxy warfare as “Fitna-e-Hindustan” — a malignant operation targeting Pakistan’s sovereignty, civilians, and peace.

Federal Secretary Aftab Durrani revealed that the recent deadly attack in Balochistan was orchestrated under the patronage of the Indian intelligence agency RAW. “India has miserably failed in its so-called Operation Sand Dune. In desperation, it has now ordered its terror proxies to intensify attacks inside Balochistan,” he said. He warned that the state of Pakistan will decisively dismantle these networks and bring the perpetrators to justice, adding, “Fitna-e-Hindustan has begun targeting soft civilian targets, including women and children — a despicable new low.”

Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said Pakistan had long been confronting Indian-sponsored terrorism and first presented evidence directly to the Indian Prime Minister in 2009. “Captured terrorists have consistently confessed to receiving direct support and directives from India,” he said.

The DG ISPR stated that New Delhi is actively attempting to destabilize the region. “The attacks on May 21 were carried out by Indian proxies under direct instructions from India. This is the real face of Indian state terrorism — brutal, calculated, and devoid of humanity. These attacks have nothing to do with Baloch identity or Pakistani nationalism. They are part of a foreign-directed campaign of destruction,” he emphasized.

He highlighted several recent terror incidents attributed to Indian-backed elements, including the killing of 12 labourers in Noshki on April 12, 2024, and the targeted murder of two more workers in Tump, Kech on April 28, 2024. “These attacks, increasingly aimed at innocent civilians, especially women and children, are a testament to India’s growing desperation and its rejection of peace,” he added.

Both officials reaffirmed Pakistan’s firm resolve to expose and eliminate Indian-sponsored terrorist networks and urged the international community to break its silence over India’s role in fueling violence across the region.
