Pakistan, Türkiye Agree to Expand Strategic Cooperation in GHQ Meeting

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has thanked Türkiye and its government for supporting Pakistan at global forums, stating that Pakistan and Türkiye share deep rooted historic and brotherly ties. He expressed these views during a meeting with Türkiye’s Minister of Energy, Alparslan Bayraktar Kacı, at General Headquarters.

According to the Inter Services Public Relations, the Turkish energy minister visited GHQ and held a meeting with the Army Chief, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir. The two sides discussed matters of mutual interest, including cooperation in the energy sector.

During the meeting, both countries agreed to expand Pakistan Türkiye cooperation, enhance strategic collaboration, and strengthen partnership for regional stability and shared objectives. The two sides reaffirmed their commitment to further deepening bilateral ties.

On the occasion, Field Marshal Asim Munir said that Pakistan and Türkiye enjoy strong historic and brotherly relations. He thanked Türkiye, its president, and the Turkish people for consistently supporting Pakistan at international platforms.
