Pakistan to Fix Bounties on 22 Most-Wanted Terrorists: Rewards Up to Rs. 50 Million Proposed

Peshawar: In a major move to curb terrorism, provincial authorities have decided to fix bounty prices on the heads of 22 most-wanted terrorists, with proposed rewards ranging from Rs. 10 million to Rs. 50 million. These individuals are reportedly involved in various heinous crimes and belong to different tribal and southern regions of the province.

According to sources, the KP government has sent recommendations to the federal authorities regarding the bounty amounts. The terrorists include those associated with outlawed organizations, and special directives have also been issued for their arrests, especially in South Waziristan and other affected tribal districts.

The action plan was developed in light of intelligence reports and increasing militant activities. It is believed that this decision could significantly enhance counter-terrorism efforts and help bring key culprits to justice.

Additionally, provincial intelligence agencies have been instructed to take immediate and effective action against these elements, and reports suggest a crackdown is expected soon.
