Pakistan has strongly condemned and categorically rejected Israel’s reported plans to establish a so-called “Greater Israel” and forcibly expel Palestinians from Gaza, calling the move a dangerous and unlawful attempt to alter regional realities.
In a statement issued on Saturday, the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs urged the international community to unequivocally reject such provocative and destabilizing narratives.
“These ideas are blatant violations of international law, the UN Charter, and numerous United Nations resolutions,” the spokesperson said.
The Foreign Office noted that such statements reflect Israel’s desire to further entrench its illegal occupation, and also expose its complete disregard for international efforts aimed at securing lasting peace and stability in the region.
“This is not only a provocation, but also an expression of insensitivity toward the global pursuit of peace in the Middle East,” the statement added.
Pakistan urged world powers and international institutions to take concrete and urgent action to prevent Israel from pursuing policies that risk further destabilizing the region.
“The occupying power must be stopped from intensifying regional instability and continuing its crimes and atrocities against the Palestinian people,” the spokesperson emphasized.
Reaffirming its unwavering support for the Palestinian cause, Pakistan reiterated its long-standing position in favour of the establishment of an independent, viable, and contiguous Palestinian state along the pre-1967 borders, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif (Jerusalem) as its capital.
“Pakistan stands firmly with the Palestinian people in their just struggle for self-determination and fundamental rights,” the statement concluded.
