Pakistan Shot Down Seven Indian Aircraft, Reveals Former Air Marshal Arshad Malik

Former Air Marshal Arshad Malik has revealed that the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) shot down seven Indian aircraft and successfully engaged 25 targets during a critical phase of military escalation with India, marking a significant strategic achievement for the country.

Speaking with media, the former PAF official disclosed that Pakistan not only neutralised multiple aerial threats but also launched a successful cyber and electronic warfare operation that severely disrupted Indian military infrastructure. “We blocked numerous Indian websites and grid stations, and completely jammed their aircraft systems. As a result, their jets were flying aimlessly with no command or control,” he said.

The programme also featured Minister of State for Interior Senator Talal Chaudhry, who stated that India was compelled to engage in dialogue on the Kashmir dispute—an outcome he described as a diplomatic victory for Pakistan. “For the first time, India was forced to talk about Kashmir under international pressure, which is a testament to Pakistan’s firm and effective response,” he noted.

Senator Chaudhry further added that India agreed to resume dialogue after former U.S. President Donald Trump intervened to mediate the crisis.

Offering a broader geopolitical analysis, former Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry remarked that the conflict had backfired on New Delhi. “This confrontation turned into a strategic setback for India, plunging its leadership into a state of psychological pressure,” he said.

The disclosures provide a rare insight into the operational success of the Pakistan Air Force and the broader diplomatic consequences of the standoff, underscoring Pakistan’s military preparedness and regional influence.
