Pakistan Retaliates with Force: Two Indian Fighter Jets Downed Amid Escalating Tensions

Pakistan’s armed forces have delivered a strong counterstrike in response to India’s unprovoked aggression, downing two Indian fighter jets, according to initial reports from security sources. All Pakistani aircraft involved in the operation returned unscathed.

Security officials say the Pakistan Air Force acted swiftly and decisively, sending a clear message after India launched missile attacks on Pakistani territory. The Indian strikes targeted civilian areas and places of worship, with confirmed reports of two civilian deaths in Kotli.

According to a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Indian military carried out missile attacks on five locations — Kotli, Ahmedpur Sharqia, Muzaffarabad, Bagh, and Muridke. The attacks were described as cowardly and indiscriminate, resulting in civilian casualties and property damage.

The ISPR confirmed that Pakistan’s armed forces are actively responding through both aerial and ground operations. The retaliatory campaign is ongoing, with military officials vowing a firm and unforgiving answer to any further provocation.
