Pakistan has firmly rejected allegations by India’s Foreign Secretary regarding ceasefire violations, reiterating its full commitment to upholding the truce with honesty and restraint. Foreign Office Spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan, in an official statement, dismissed the claims as baseless and reaffirmed Pakistan’s principled stance on maintaining peace along the Line of Control (LoC).
Responding to a question about the Indian Foreign Secretary’s accusations, the spokesperson emphasized that Pakistan remains steadfast and sincere in implementing the ceasefire agreement as announced, and there has been no breach from the Pakistani side.
“Despite multiple violations by Indian forces in various sectors, our armed forces have continued to manage the situation with responsibility and restraint,” Shafqat Ali Khan stated, underlining Pakistan’s adherence to de-escalation even under provocation.
The spokesperson further noted that any issues related to ceasefire implementation should be addressed through appropriate communication channels, and urged that troops on both sides demonstrate discipline and patience to prevent escalation.
Pakistan’s statement comes amid rising tensions following recent border incidents, and serves as a diplomatic effort to counter India’s narrative while calling for mature, bilateral engagement.
