Pakistan on High Alert Over Suspected RAW-Linked Terror Plot in Balochistan

Authorities have issued a high security alert following intelligence reports of a potential terrorist attack in Balochistan, allegedly orchestrated from Iran by Ajith John Joshua, a former senior official of India’s Research and Analysis Wing (RAW). The exact target remains unconfirmed, but security forces have been directed to intensify vigilance, particularly in cities near the Pakistan-Iran border, amid heightened threats during Eid-ul-Fitr.

According to intelligence sources, Joshua, who previously served as Consul at the Indian Consulate in Hong Kong, is currently in Iran and suspected of coordinating a major terror operation through militant proxies. His background includes a tenure in India’s Ministry of External Affairs, with postings in Beijing and involvement in disarmament and international security affairs.
