Pakistan Obliterates Taliban’s ‘Durrani Camp 2’ in Devastating Counter-Strike, Over 50 Militants Killed

In a powerful display of military precision and resolve, Pakistan’s security forces on Sunday launched a crushing counter-strike against Taliban positions along the Pak-Afghan border, completely obliterating the militant group’s “Durrani Camp 2”  a key launch pad for cross-border terrorism against Pakistan, security sources confirmed.

The high-intensity strike, described as a “measured yet decisive response,” left the Taliban’s Durrani Camp 2 in ruins, with initial reports indicating that more than 50 Taliban and foreign militants were killed. The camp had long served as a central staging ground for terrorist infiltrations and attacks orchestrated by the Taliban and their foreign allies inside Pakistan.

According to security officials, the operation targeted the Second Battalion Headquarters of the Afghan Taliban’s First Brigade in the Barabcha area  a hub from where foreign militants and elements of “Fitna-e-Hindustan” were being launched across the border to destabilize Pakistan. The precise strikes inflicted heavy human and material losses on the Taliban and their affiliates.

Security sources said Pakistan’s military action came in direct retaliation to unprovoked aggression by Taliban forces along the border, making clear that any violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty would invite an immediate and forceful response. “The operation demonstrates Pakistan’s unflinching commitment to defend every inch of its territory,” a senior security official said.

Footage released from the area shows Taliban and foreign fighters abandoning their posts and making desperate, failed attempts to flee as Pakistani strikes hit their positions. “Several fleeing militants were effectively engaged and neutralized by Pakistan’s forces,” the sources added.

The sources further confirmed that multiple Taliban and foreign outposts near Chaman were targeted after militants attempted to regroup. The swift and coordinated response by Pakistani forces ensured that hostile elements were completely overwhelmed.

Officials emphasized that Pakistan remains fully prepared to counter any further provocations from across the border, reaffirming that peace and stability cannot coexist with acts of cross-border terrorism.
