Pakistan, India DGMOs Hold Third Hotline Contact, Reaffirm Commitment to Ceasefire

The Directors General of Military Operations (DGMOs) of Pakistan and India established contact for the third time via the military hotline, reaffirming their commitment to maintaining the ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC).

The latest communication follows the ceasefire agreement brokered through the diplomatic efforts of the United States and other friendly nations. According to informed sources, both sides reviewed the ground situation and agreed to uphold the ‘status quo’ established during their previous contact on Monday.

While the specific details of the exchange have not been officially released, the dialogue is being viewed as a continued confidence-building measure aimed at preventing escalation and ensuring peace along the LoC.

Additional Secretary and Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Shafqat Ali Khan, is expected to brief the media on the matter later today.
