Pakistan is hosting a historic visit of the Islamic Military Counter-Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC), marking a significant milestone in efforts to strengthen professional military cooperation and a united front against terrorism among Islamic countries. The visit, led by the Secretary-General of Saudi Arabia, underscores Pakistan’s pivotal role in fostering regional security and counter-terrorism collaboration.
The delegation represents 43 Islamic countries and will remain in Pakistan from 2nd to 8th February to review and enhance existing cooperation frameworks, with a focus on joint anti-terrorism measures, operational coordination, and intelligence sharing. As part of the historic visit, a 17-member IMCTC delegation will inaugurate a specialized anti-terrorism training program in Pakistan.
