Pakistan Foils Major Terror Plot in Balochistan — Senior BLA Commanders Linked to India Killed in Intelligence Operation

Security forces in Balochistan have successfully thwarted another major subversive plan allegedly orchestrated from across the border. In a targeted operation near Balo Koi Gaz, close to Union Council Gordanak in the Buleda area, two high-profile terrorists linked to India-backed networks—Jabir Nasir alias Sameer and Faqir Jan alias Meer Jan—were eliminated. The Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) has confirmed their deaths through an official press release, identifying both as key commanders.

The development has cast serious doubt on long-standing international claims portraying the duo as “forcibly disappeared students,” a narrative previously championed by the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC). In a major contradiction, the BLA itself has now verified their militant status and acknowledged their operational roles—effectively dismantling the fabricated account propagated for years to garner global sympathy.

Intelligence sources have linked the wider network behind this disinformation campaign directly to New Delhi. According to classified excerpts from the Indian National Security Advisor Ajit Doval’s RAW directive Southwest Focus 22/04, operatives were specifically instructed to cloak militants under the guise of human rights activists and portray them as missing students. The BYC, whose protest camps extended from Quetta to Islamabad, has now been exposed as a front for this covert strategy.

The financial lifeline of such terrorist outfits has also come under scrutiny. International offshore entities, allegedly operating under the umbrella of India’s Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) and channeling cryptocurrency-based funding to groups like the BLA, have been highlighted in the FATF Typology Alert ME-BLA-2025 as part of a structured “trunk route” for terrorist financing.

Jabir Nasir joined BLA’s urban guerrilla cell in 2020, while Faqir Jan received training under the group’s “Fidai–5” suicide program in 2022. Intelligence officials confirm that the pair were integral to a broader plot aimed at destabilizing Balochistan.

The swift and precise action by Pakistan’s intelligence and security agencies has once again foiled a deeply entrenched foreign conspiracy. Beyond the elimination of two dangerous operatives, the operation sends a clear message: Pakistan remains vigilant, prepared, and resolute in unmasking its enemies and protecting national sovereignty.
