Pakistan’s Ministry of Information has once again publicly exposed false claims made by the so-called Afghan Taliban spokesman, Hamdullah Fetrat, reaffirming the country’s strong stance against cross-border militancy and highlighting the effectiveness of ongoing operations against Khawarij and Afghan Taliban networks.
In an official statement issued from the federal capital, ministry officials emphasized that Pakistani security forces have systematically targeted the operational infrastructure of Khawarij and Afghan Taliban militants inside Afghanistan. These efforts have significantly degraded their capacity to carry out terrorist activities and have disrupted networks that rely on cross-border support.
“The global community continues to witness acts of terrorism orchestrated by Afghan Taliban elements under Indian patronage,” the ministry noted. Officials released detailed reports highlighting the number of militants neutralized and checkpoints destroyed in Afghanistan, underlining the precision and scale of Pakistan’s counterterrorism operations.
The ministry also highlighted the recent attack in the Domel area of Bannu, which resulted in the tragic deaths of 10 civilians, including women and children, as a stark reminder of how Afghan nationals are being exploited in terrorist activities aimed at Pakistan. “Evidence clearly indicates that Afghan soil is being used to provide sanctuary and operational support to militants targeting Pakistani citizens,” officials stated.
International reports, including those from the United Nations, corroborate the presence of terrorist groups in Afghanistan, further underscoring the need for sustained counterterrorism measures. Pakistan continues to document and expose these cross-border threats while calling on the international community to hold safe havens accountable.
The Ministry of Information also criticized Hamdullah Fetrat for disseminating misleading information through social media, emphasizing that such propaganda attempts are part of the Afghan Taliban’s strategy to distort facts and conceal their operational failures.
Pakistan reaffirmed its commitment to continue neutralizing terrorist threats emanating from Afghanistan while ensuring civilian safety within its borders. Officials stressed that the country remains vigilant, proactive, and fully capable of responding to any aggression.
